Hannah Elliott I have a French friend who owned a ‘69 Honda CB450 for years. She finally traded it in after the brakes went out (the latest of its recurrent mechanical problems) on Manhattan’s First Avenue. She loved the bike, but mademoiselle needed something that she could trust. The first thing I thought of was […]
It is born out of a collaboration between Ducati Scrambler and Italia Independent, brand leader in the eyewear and lifestyle products sector, that combines fashion and design, tradition and innovation. The bike represents the expansion of the range as it takes a turn in a more fashionable and glamourous direction while maintaining the characteristic values […]

In 2014, Ducati did the unthinkable. The current dominator of the sportsbike arms race—its performance bikes are now the most powerful, lightest weight, and highest spec in nearly every segment—launched something that was the exact opposite. The Scrambler didn’t set out to be the fastest bike on the market, it simply set out to be […]
This to-die-for bike will only be manufactured in a very limited run of 58 units, and apparently at least 25 of them are already gone. The base machine used by Ducati Thailand is the Icon, and this means we’re dealing with the 803cc L-twin version of the Scrambler. The most striking thing about this bike […]
Story: Tom Rayner DUCATI has dropped its strongest hint yet that an 1100cc supersize Scrambler could be joining the hugely successful family. Speaking at the launch of the Scrambler Sixty2 in Barcelona, project manager Federico Sabbioni told Visordown: ‘We’ve got the engines, there is room to make something bigger. We’ll see, we have […]
Story: Tom Rayner DUCATI has a hit on its hands and I get the impression even it is surprised by the level of its own success. 16,000 Scramblers were sold last year, enough to propel Ducati into the top ten worldwide sales chart of bikes over 500cc for the first time in its history. The […]
Story: Sean McCoy The Happier Camper is a different kind of pull-behind. At just 1,100 pounds, you can tow it behind a lot of small cars, including the Subaru Outback, which has a towing capacity of 2,700 pounds. (Shoot, even some Ford Fusions can tow this trailer.) The lighter weight will also be nice […]
By James Archibald The five finalists of Ducati’s Custom Rumble competition have been announced after voting closed in late January. The competition has seen Ducati Dealers modify the hugely popular Scrambler before going head-to-head against each other in the competition dubbed the ‘Custom Rumble’. Forty dealers took part in the global competition. With voting coming from the public […]
Got to do some testing on the new RSD Ginger Jacket and I love it. I'll post a full review on my site soon but below are some of the highlights incase you're in the market for new gear. You can see the entire fall RSD line up at @rsd_apparel_2017 - The Ginger women's jacket is a true utilitarian style with just the right amount of femininity. It's constructed of British Millerain waxed cotton that is water repellent (perfect for me in FL) and has a soft feel yet still has a ton of protection. It's a classic fit with a 3/4 length that allows this jacket to be very versatile and its fully adjustable waist means you can dial in the fit just right. And.... there's plenty of storage pockets for all of my pretty things and random crap I pick up on the road.
